We’ll be discussing upcoming POTA opportunities happening after August 5th, including both local club activations and major regional/national events. Whether you’re new to POTA or a regular activator, there’s something for everyone.

- Aug 16–17: International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend – including FMARC’s activation at Port Boca Grande Lighthouse (US-1874) in Florida and W3EM’s operation from Turtle Rock Lighthouse in PA
- Sept 6: Ohio State Parks On The Air (OSPOTA) – statewide contest (10 AM–6 PM ET)
- Sept 6–7: North Carolina & Upstate NY POTA activations
- Sept 16–25: Erie Canal Bicentennial POTA Activation (US-6532)
- Sept 20: POTA-MANIA Fort Washington State Park picnic & activation
- Oct 10–12: OKTPOTA Fest – three-day camp & activate event
- Oct 18–19: Autumn Support Your Parks Weekend – global POTA activation weekend
We’ll also leave time for anyone planning fall activations to share ideas or request gear, logs, or logging help.
