Bob French has asked me to host the October Tech Night, which will be the last one for 2025.
They will start again in January 2026.
I thought a tech night where we can discuss simple antennas and how to mount them at your QTH would be helpful to those who have just received their license, or want to come and discuss what worked and more importantly what didn’t work for them. Let’s share the knowledge on a topic I don’t see come up too often “I have an antenna, how do I get the thing in the air?”. If you have POTA experience please come and share your knowledge about setting up antennas.
Tech Night Subject: Basic antennas, how to support them, an open discussion
Audience: New Hams setting up their first station & others who want to discuss & hear other ideas
Date: Wednesday, October 22, 2025
Time: 7pm
Location: BARC Meeting Room
St Pierre Education Center
3757 Upper Bellbrook Rd
Bellbrook, OH 45305

- How to support the antennas, without drilling into your roof
- Some ideas of what not to do
