Join us in the clubhouse this Saturday, October 15, at 1 pm as we participate in the Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) with a local Boy Scout troop and Cub Scout troop. We will show the scouts how to make contacts with other scouts over HF, DMR, and local VHF radios. For more information about rules and frequencies, see the ARRL JOTA website here.
Even if you are unable to attend the event in person, you can monitor the airwaves and listen for scouts trying to make contacts. If you were a scout when you were young, they would love to hear about your experiences!
