After a discussion with the club leadership, we have decided to cancel the club’s WFD activity that was scheduled for Saturday, Jan 24th 2026. The temperature is going to be too cold to safely operate. These temperatures present increased risks, particularly cold stress, reduced dexterity, slips, and other weather-related health concerns. Ham radio should remain fun and safe. Enjoy operating this weekend from the comfort of home instead, and I hope to catch everyone at the next big event.
I would like to thank the BARC officers and coordinators that helped with planning this event.
