Announcing the annual BARC Spring Tune-Up, Sunday May 1, 2-4 pm at the clubhouse. This annual event is part of our Operating Afternoon Program.
A few years ago the club held a Test & Tune event that was well received. We will now make this a yearly event. The Spring Tune-Up is a chance for members to get
* Radios checked for TX power, RX sensitivity, Modulation level, Frequency accuracy, Spurious output
* Power supplies load tested
* Cables tested & mended
* 12v batteries in your Go Kit load tested (please charge them up right before the event)
* Connectors on coax & power cables installed/repaired
* Analyze and tweak 2m/440 antennas * include help with radio programming
