Station Updates Completed for QSO Party!

Thanks to the hard work of Glenn Rodgers (KE8LZD), Paul Sushereba (K9SUS), Paul Sharp (KD8OPN), Ken Cornett (N8SPW), Stu Holzer (K8ST), Tom King (KT8TDK), myself and others, the Communications Center updates and Station moves have been completed and we are ready for the Ohio QSO Party this Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the clubhouse! Pictures of the stations are below.

The QSO Party goes from 12 noon until 12 midnight, but we will likely operate from 12 noon until dinner time, depending on interest. Call on the BARC 147.045 (+ offset, no tone) repeater if you want to make sure the clubhouse is still open. Please join us for this fun contest and represent Ohio wearing your favorite Ohio team’s gear! Even if you do not plan on operating but just want to watch and learn how to work a contest, come join us for the fun! Contests are an easy way to get comfortable on the air because there is a standard exchange and contacts are very quick.

We will have the usual snacks, soda, water, and coffee available so come be social and visit with your fellow BARC hams!
