Saturday, December 14, the BARC clubhouse will be open from 1:00 pm until about 5 pm for the ARRL 10 Meter Contest. The contest objective is for amateurs worldwide to exchange contact information with as many stations as possible on the 10 meter band. This is a great contest for new amateurs, especially Technician class operators because they have both phone and CW privileges on the 10 meter band.
Several BARC mentors will be available to help get you set up at a station and get on the air. The exchange is very simple, just your callsign, a signal report, and your state (OH). All are welcome!
